How much noise does it make?
All of our holographic fans output a sound level around 60 Db. This is equivalent to regular conversation level between two people, so it is not very loud. Additionally, if there is any ambient sound in the room it is installed in you will not even hear it at all (like conferences, trade shows, retail stores, etc.).
Do I have to be connected to the fan for it to work?
No, you do not need to be always connected. Once you have uploaded your content it will be saved on the fan's SD card and you do not need to be connected any longer for it to display your images.
Is the fan waterproof?
No, our holographic fans are not waterproof and should not be used in wet conditions. If you would like to use it outside, please purchase a cover / case from us.
What kind of file types can I upload?
You can upload any of the following file types: MP4, AVI, MOV, GIF, JPEG, PNG. However, MP4 is the standard file type.
Does Lumina ship from the USA?
Yes! All orders ship same day or next day from our warehouse in Missouri. You can expect to recieve your order in 1-4 days depending on how far away you are.
Does it still show up well in lit environments?
Yes! The holographic effects still looks really good even in well lit environments. But it does look even better in the dark!
Are there any additional accessories I need?
No, you do not need any other equipment or accessories. The fan comes with a wall mount that you can use to mount it to any solid surface. However, we do sell additional mounts like tripod or ceiling mounts if needed.
Can I run it 24/7?
Yes you can! Our Holographic fans have a lifetime rating of 50,000 hours. However, we would suggest turning off the power when not in use to preserve the longevity of your device.
Can I use my computer to upload files?
Yes you can! Computer upload only supports MP4 files however. So just make sure your files are in the correct format and you are good to go!

The photos don't do justice the just how cool this is! Easy to set up, run and it's so quiet - online reviews of similar devices indicate that the fans are really loud - not so with the Lumina Display. Working my way through the 3D Animation process at present, but regular videos play well on this device as well. I can't wait for next month when I get to debut this baby!

Our Lumina fan just came this week, and I finally had a chance to get it hooked up to test it. The image clarity is fantastic, and it has no sound as the blades are turning. The only trouble I seem to be having is with the connection disconnecting and reconnecting quite a few times. The image was also upside down, but there's a setting in the app to fix this. Neither are a deal breaker though for how great the quality is!

Delivered broken. order L00A200166. Communicated with Lumina three times (2x by chat, 1 email per the instructions I received in the chat) so far, haven't received any updates indicating that my replacement is on the way.

I just plugged it in and watched it Then I WANTED TO SEE VIDEO SO DRAGGED AN MP4 into the card and there it was playing That’s it
The customer service in terms of getting the new fan shipped and delivered was very good and upon arrival of the fan, everything worked and calling the phone number at Lumina to ask some set up questions was easy and they were responsive and helpful.
Fan Looks and works great and the app is simple to operate. Only problem was that the clear cover arrived with a crack, but Lumina agreed to send us a new for free! great company to work with!

Came bent out of the box
An Acrylic case is a 100% must if your hologram fan is in hands' reach. I learned the hard way by carelessly sticking my finger in the fan while it was spinning within the first minute of owning it.
If you are not mounting your hologram fan to a fix surface (ie wall, ceiling) a stand is necessary to display your videos portably at standing eye level.
Very good quality hologram fan. From the research i've done this is one of the top companies for this size fan. the app works well, easy to upload vids and have some options to design text with a few motion backgrounds on the fly.
It does it's job of protecting the fan from any physical altercations. I would recommend this to anyone who owns a holographic fan.

Amazing 3D effects. The ability to show diagrams, and explain our product in a new and refreshing way is awesome for us to use to show potential customers.
